IGL Coatings Ecoclear Aegis, is a transparent anti-corrosion coating.
Aegis is a silicone hybrid resin based 2K paint system, reinforced with graphene to boost performance and mechanical properties.
Aegis is specifically designed to protect steel, concrete, glass and all other kind of surfaces in high corrosive environments (C5). More importantly, its transparent nature provides the ability to identify early signs of corrosion, allowing for early preventive measures. Saving time, costs and accidents.
The low surface energy (LSE) and smooth surface of Aegis creates an exceptionally easy-to-clean surface.
Applicable on a wide range on substrates, Aegis is capable of withstanding up to 3000 hours exposure to salt spray machine test,
(meaning a life of approximately 15 years in a non-marine environment or 7 years in a marine environment) with minimal signs of degradation.
IGL Aegis will protect surfaces from rust, corrosion, etching and oxidation.
